Cameron Gaddy
Planning & Communications Team Manager
Cameron Gaddy has more than twelve years of experience in project and program management for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), as well as energy sector large capital projects spanning design through commissioning.
Motivated to solve problems in collaborative settings, he has worked on large capital projects and investment strategies throughout his career in the public and private sectors. Through project cost and schedule engineering roles on Arctic projects, Cameron developed planning and communication skillsets to support his solution-driven approach to project management.
As a planner with TxDOT’s Unified Transportation Program (UTP), Cameron supported multiple TxDOT Districts on their project portfolios, with a focus on mobility. This included analysis and evaluation of projects for programming guidance and recommendations, facilitating quarterly portfolio health and risk reviews among Districts and Divisions, and supporting Districts with project programming and letting solutions.
Cameron grew up in Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2010. He moved to Austin in 2016 and completed a master’s degree in engineering with the Construction Engineering and Project Management Program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2017.
