Glenn Goldstein, P.E., PMP, PMI-RMP

Glenn has 24 years of infrastructure experience with a focus on helping public agencies navigate the risks and uncertainties that come with delivering complex programs and projects. He believes in a practical, proactive approach to risk management, based on experience developing frameworks that help teams identify challenges early and make informed decisions. His experience spans the transportation, aviation, and municipal sectors, where he has helped agencies build and apply clear, consistent methods for managing threats and capitalizing on opportunities across every phase of project delivery. His work covers a wide range of projects, from small infrastructure improvements to multi-billion-dollar programs, underscoring his ability to tailor approaches to the scale and complexity of each effort.

 

He has led risk workshops that bring together decision-makers to assess and address risks and created guidance materials and tools that embed risk management into how projects are planned and delivered. He has also developed and delivered risk management training and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences and prepared risk-based cost estimates for both traditional and alternative delivery projects to inform budgeting and contingency planning.

 

Glenn holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science with honors in Civil Engineering from Georgia Tech. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), having served as President of the Austin Branch and Treasurer of the Texas Section, and contributes to ASCE’s Community of Practice on Risk Management.

 

He currently serves as Risk Manager for the AUS Airport Expansion and Development Program (AEDP) and leads ongoing efforts to strengthen risk governance for the City of Austin’s Capital Delivery Services Department.
