Ruben Anchondo, P.E., PMP
Scheduling & Project Controls Team Manager
Ruben is a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas and a twenty-year veteran of the transportation industry. Prior to joining Foresight in May 2019, he spent his career in the public sector with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

Throughout his career, Ruben has developed a strong skillset in project scheduling and management. As the administrator of TxDOT's initial P6 rollout, Ruben helped create the agency's P6 environment and standard policies and procedures for schedule management. In his role with TxDOT's Project Management Office, Ruben developed and managed the creation and implementation of multiple project schedules and led a project management team responsible for overseeing 55 projects worth $1.48 billion, spanning various phases of project development and 10 TxDOT districts.

Ruben also spent several years performing quality control functions as part of TxDOT’s Design Division. Most recently, he served as Section Director to the Final PS&E Processing Section, overseeing the preparation of statewide PS&E (plans, specifications, and estimates) for the final letting process.

Originally from El Paso, Ruben has lived in Austin since 2001. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering and earned his PMP certification in 2016.
